Hi, my name is Tammra. I am a woman who wears many hats. I have a lot of experience in many different arenas, and I am excited to share them all. After experiencing a pretty serious illness that caused me to be out of commission for the past 6 years, I am doing much better and I'm ready to conquer the world. Seriously.&nbsp;You'll see a lot of posts about holistic mental health and wellness, that is because I started this Patreon when I was quite unwell and couldn't work. I have worked with many clients for many reasons and have had much success. Interestingly I wasn't able to fully heal myself with all the tools that I had but having gone through what I've been through I now have the tools to help so many people that are suffering from chronic pain, chronic illness and mental imbalances. I also want to support people through proper nutrition using food-based approaches.&nbsp;Next is my experience in the DJ and event planning world. I started DJing in the early '90s playing punk rock music in our local nightclub. I loved snowboarding and skateboarding, and I really thought that I was a Punk Rock Girl, even though I secretly loved all of the '90s dance music. I then went on a 3-month backpacking trip across Europe and I went to my first raves in Amsterdam, Prague, and Germany. I was amazed at the community, creativity, and the amount of fun that I had at those events. I came home and soon after I bought turntables, a.k.a. record players.&nbsp;I moved to a small town called Golden, in the mountains of British Columbia Canada and I noticed there wasn't much going on as far as a dance culture scene (although there was, it just wasn’t public). [side note: I was also given a huge stack of records from my Step-Mom, that she received from her boyfriend in the 70s who was a DJ for a local radio station in Calgary Alberta. I had no idea of the value of those records and how they would influence me as a dj. I was sitting on gold.] I planned a disco party that were successful and actually went on for the next 12 years. It was called: Glitterball. Soon after that I started collecting electronic music records. We would travel to Calgary and I would go to the local rave store (although we didn’t call them that lol) , start listening to records, purchasing them, bringing them home and playing them out. I also found an incredible Record Shop in the UK that I bought many of my records from that no one else seemed to have. By the way I still have all of those records today, including all of the records that have been given to me from my family and friends as well as records that I picked up from garage sales. So my boyfriend at the time and I started hosting events at the local nightclubs and pubs. Soon we co-founded and created a collective called Golden Delicious Productions.Our events were extremely successful and we almost always sold out. We were able to bring in some pretty big DJs and Bands and, I feel, we put Golden, BC on the map as far as creating a “rave” dance culture scene. Since then I have had the pleasure of DJing not only at many nightclubs spanning across western Canada but also some incredible festivals, including Shabhala, Bass Coast, Motion Notion, Electric Love and so many more. I have curated many events as well as helped many others to plan their events. I've DJ'd and planned every kind of event you can imagine.I have even curated and produced two of my own festivals, with my husband (and our very tiny team), in 2015 and 2016. It was very rewarding, but it was also extremely exhausting, and I soon started to&nbsp; experience a lot of extreme anxiety (which I already had a lot of trouble with throughout my lifetime).&nbsp;It was shortly after that I became quite ill. I dropped to 78 lb and had 32 symptoms. I became extremely isolated, and I really didn't think I was going to make it. But 6 years later, here I am!This brings me to today. I've just soft-launched a Social Media Specialist Business called SociallyTam. I did this because I've always had to market my own businesses, and I was an early adopter of social media, so I figured, why not learn more about how to really support other businesses in building their brand through building their social media presence. I'm excited to say that I've been doing this now for almost 5 months, and I'm really excited for what comes next. Learning this skill will also support me in what I'm about to tell you next.A very good friend and someone I call my DJ-Sis, who was one of the co-founders of the Golden Delicious DJ Collective with me in the late 90s, has been carrying the torch and is one of the hardest working DJs I know. Recently I saw that things had really started to take off for her so I congratulated her and we got on the phone. She told me about an Academy that teaches people how to make their own music so I decided to look into it. I was so impressed with what I was looking and hearing, and Ihad never seen anything like this before when it came to the music and dance culture scene. It's an intensive program on how to make music, brand yourself, and they also surround you with an incredible community that continually gives you feedback and lifts you up. The facilitators have an extraordinary background and a tremendous track record. The program has also produced many successful artists, and it is inspiring to witness. To think that I may be connected with these people and they may be one day they'll be hearing my music really fires me up.&nbsp;I have been wanting to write my own music since I began DJing. I have a background in singing and often sing while I DJ. I have a notebook with ideas that I've been keeping for over 20 years. I have records with stickers on them of the things that inspire me that I would like to either sample or remake in some way. I also love to write poetry, love organic sounds and infusing frequencies into my mixes. I even have audio notes on my phone that I've been keeping for many years as well as playlists and playlists and more playlists of songs that inspire me.However, everything that I am doing requires a financial investment. I want to continue building on my skills, and I want to build a beautiful studio for everything that I offer.&nbsp;So I am looking to crowdfunding to make this happen. When we first met and decided to take things further with our relationship I had this intuitive feeling that I would need somebody in my life that would have to be a warrior. At that time I had no idea why I had that feeling but now I do. And Tony is that, he is a warrior. He is what a man is supposed to be.
